BPW/Gold Coast

HELP BPW/Gold Coast meet their “Pie It Forward” goal of
25 pies for Meals On Wheels/Palm Beach and buy a pie.

Starting November 1, go to this link and purchase a pie to pick up OR

buy a virtual pie/slice for a senior to have with their Thanksgiving meal.

Gold Coast member Sheri McCandless is working for Meals on Wheels/Palm Beaches (MOWPB) and has expressed how they truly appreciate BPW/Gold Coast’s support. MOWPB is not funded by the government and they depend on donations. This annual fundraiser will help provide fresh cooked, hot meals to over 500 clients each week. The pies are baked and donated by Pie Masters throughout the County and every pie purchased feeds a senior for one week!

Mission: To achieve equity for all working women through advocacy, education and connections.

At the BPW/FL 2023 annual conference “Energizing the Future Today”, members from BPW/Gold Coast and BPW/Fort Lauderdale shared accommodations. The time together created lasting bonds and memories.

BPW/Gold Coast had a joyful and giving Christmas party.

Happy Holidays to all of our BPW sisters in Florida.

Over the recent months, BPW/Gold Coast collected items to donate them during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. These items accumulated to over 10 boxes, four plastic bags, multiple items on hangers and more. On October 19, they were donated to The Florida Breast Cancer Foundation, which has thrift stores around the state. The truck arrived timely at the home of the President of BPW/Gold Coast, Sue Banks. The driver was very personable and grateful for the donation. Sue took a PR moment and gave the driver an envelope with the letter below and included a BPW/FL and BPW/FL Education Foundation brochure.
