Member Spotlight: Morina Chmielak

Morina Chmielak is currently serving as the BPW/Englewood-Venice President.  She started her carrier with Eastern Airlines in 1979 in the sales and marketing department.  After ten years with the airlines, she left to join a large travel agency in their corporate department.  Morina soon was promoted to manager and under her leadership grew the agency to a multi-million dollar business.  In 1995, Morina opened her own travel agency and has been in business ever since.  She is the proud owner of Professional Travel services.  Her attention to detail and putting customers first has earned her the respect of her corporate and leisure clients.

Morina has been married to her husband Jim for 29 years.  They enjoy traveling around the world, entertaining friends and most of all spending time with their family.  They have two sons, Jim and Christopher, who live in New Jersey and California.  They also have two loving grandchildren, Kai and Quinn, who live in New Jersey.

Since moving from Westfield, NJ, thirteen years ago, Morina has served on the Board of Directors for Dollars for Mammograms and has been involved with United Way of South Sarasota County.  She has also volunteered for Tidewell Hospice for twelve years.  She has been a proud and supportive member of BPW/Englewood-Venice for thirteen years.
