I am the Agency Manager of Whiting Insurance Agency in Spring Hill, Florida. I hold 2-20 and 2-15 insurance licenses, which enable me to sell property and casualty insurance. I recently celebrated my 20th anniversary with the Whiting Agency.
I hale from Long Island, New York, and moved to Florida with my parents when I was 11. I graduated from St. Leo College, got married, and moved to Hartford, CT, where I began by career in banking. After moving back to Florida, I worked in our family business for 10 years before starting my career in the insurance industry, initially working as a Nationwide agent before transitioning the agency to an independent agency.
I have been married to my husband Ken for 33 years and am the proud mom of two grown sons, Andrew, who is a pilot in the US Navy, and Alec, an Aerospace Engineer. My husband recently retired from law enforcement, where he worked as a Deputy Sheriff for 30 years. I am an independent demonstrator for StampinUp, where I teach card-making classes and inspire women to use creativity to release the stresses of everyday life. My husband and I are officially empty nesters, enjoy RVing in our spare time.
I have been an active member of BPW for more than 20 years, holding various positions on the state and local levels. I currently serve as the Breast Cancer Fund Chair.
