12 Oct Member Spotlight: Jeanine D’Amico
Jeanine D’Amico grew up in New York (Long Island) where she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Mount St. Mary College and a Master’s degree in Human Resources from Stony Brook University. She decided to move to the Keys in 2010 without having ever been there before! In early 2011, she began working at the Greater Marathon Chamber of Commerce as an Administrative Assistant. Over the last 10 years with the Chamber, she has worked her way up to the role of Office & Events Manager and is mostly known locally for her role in the Marathon Seafood Festival and the monthly Chamber events. Jeanine has also been a mentor for Take Stock in Children, a board member for multiple organizations and enjoys helping out at Marathon community events.
Jeanine has been a member of BPW since 2012 and has served on the board as Public Relations Director, Secretary and currently as 2nd Vice President. She has served on the scholarship committee several times over the years and has helped out at BPW events, including Taste of the Islands, Keysino Night, Big Kahuna events and Sip & Shop. She and her adoring husband Patrick have Taste of the Islands to thank for kicking off their relationship in 2018. They fell in love and wasted no time getting married in 2019. They are extremely excited for the arrival of their baby boy in December!
Jeanine D’Amico was one of two awarded BPW/Marathon 2020 Woman of the Year.
