Member Spotlight: Cynthia (Cyndi) Fredricks

Cyndi and her husband John are owners of Quick Signs and Promotional Products Company in Englewood.  They provide the design, production and installation of signs, banners, vehicle graphics, decals as well as a wide variety of promotional products.  Cyndi has moved around the country from New York, to Ohio, to Kansas and finally to Florida.  Not yet ready for retirement, Cyndi and her husband decided to buy a business and work together along with their dog, Max.  

Prior to moving to Florida, Cyndi worked in hospital administration and volunteer coordination. Her last position before moving to Florida was as Director of the Volunteer Center at Hutchison Community College in Hutchinson, Kansas, where she placed volunteers with over 100 non-profit organizations.  

She has 2 grown children, a daughter, Tammy who is a Clinical Placement Coordinator and adjunct professor at the University of New York at Buffalo, and a son, Jeff, who is a Senior Chief in the Navy.  She also has 2 beautiful granddaughters.  She is an avid reader and loves nothing better than to be sitting pool side on her lanai with a glass of wine, and a good book.

Cyndi & her sister Debbie joined BPW together in 2016.  After reading the mission and public policy platform she knew that this organization was one she wanted to be a part of.  Cyndi says, “Our LO is actively helping women in our community, providing scholarship to deserving women.  Englewood/Venice is a great LO with a great group of women.  I look forward to being an active member for many years to come.”
