Hello! My name is Cassandra Clark and I am the owner and artist at Jellyfish Daydreams LLC, A fresh new creative tattoo studio and art gallery located at 91865 Overseas Highway in Tavernier focused on supporting our local coral reefs and marine habitats! We operate as eco-friendly as possible, and we also aim to educate our customers about our coral reefs through Art and how important they are to the survival of our beautiful Florida Keys.

Originally from Upstate NY, I graduated from Fonda-Fultonville High School with a Regents Diploma in 2005 focusing on Auto Mechanics and Art. I attended the College of Saint Rose where I obtained my Bachelor’s degree of Fine Arts with a focus of Painting and Drawing in 2010. I started tattooing at the young age of 18, inspired by friends and the artistry itself. I quickly learned that I was not meant for the corporate world – and was destined to be self-employed as an artist for the rest of my life. As most artists do – I started off as a broke college kid with BIG DREAMS and a hunger I couldn’t fulfill. I first opened my own business in 2012, and as my business grew, I started traveling to tattoo conventions and guest spots across the globe. In 2015 I was offered the opportunity to tattoo in Key West at Paradise Tattoo on Duval Street.

Coming to the Keys for work, I discovered diving and fell in love with our coral reefs and set a goal to move here in 5 years. When 2020 arrived, COVID-19 happened – and shuttered my business. The plan was still there, so we made the jump in August of 2020. Being an avid diver and passionate about our coral reefs, I wanted to be close to I.CARE and REEF – to be an active part of coral restoration in the Upper Keys. I decided to work at South of Heaven Tattoo in Key Largo to build a clientele basis and establish myself in the Upper Keys until the time came in July to open Jellyfish Daydreams LLC here in Tavernier!

Not only am I a tattoo artist – but I am also a jewelry designer, painter, graphic designer and as well –PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor! In the future I plan to start teaching art and jewelry classes, as well as host local community events and fundraisers. I currently live in Key Largo with my family and enjoy spending my free time UNDERWATER! I enjoy being an explorer and a creator every chance I get!

I recently joined the BPW group because WOMEN who own businesses are incredible and when you get like minds together – we can do powerful things! I’m excited to be a part of this group – to learn from other women who are strong leaders, to be a part of this amazing community – and to share my artistic abilities while making a difference!
