That’s a wrap for the 2020 Annual BPW/FL State Meeting–done via video-conferencing for the first time ever due to the coronavirus pandemic! The meeting combined Federation and Foundation business meetings that were chock full of parliamentary procedure and informed decision making, while the annual BPW/FL awards recognized local organizations for their yearlong efforts. Finally, the 2020-21 Federation Executive Committee was installed on June 15 as part of the 2020-2021 board of directors meeting. Executive committee and board of directors meetings bookended the June 13 annual meeting. What an engaged group of women!
Kudos to outgoing and incoming Executive Committee members and Board of Directors, State Business Manager Tiki Bates and Technology Chair Sheila Barry-Oliver for making these video-meetings work. It was a springboard for opportunity to make BPW even more vibrant and valuable to our members statewide.
